Group Runs

ased on input from the membership, we are trying something new and offering two different group run categories:

(1)  Long-distance / experienced / marathon training - aimed at experienced runners who plan to run anywhere from 6-20 miles in preparation for marathon training or other race distances.


(2) Beginners "Four and under" group
- targeted
toward those who may be newer to running and/or wish to run four miles or less

Track Workouts:

- Meeting every week in May through the summer.
- Plainfield Central High School
- Wednesdays at 6:15 PM

Upcoming Runs:

- Currently we are running every Saturday typically at 7:15 AM (7:30 we start to run) - unless otherwise noted in our weekly e-mail updates.
We will be meeting at:
     Gourmet Junction
     24030 (505) Lockport Street
     Plainfield, IL 60544


- Below is a map of our group run.
- Get on our distribution list if you want to be kept in the loop on weekly run locations.
- We are currently in the process of building a monthly schedule.

Notes:

- If you plan to run with the PRRC, you are required to sign a waiver form.
- Please exercise caution when running out on the roads.  Every individual is responsible for his/her own safety.
- Please bring your own fluids. 

- We will identify a local establishment for post-run coffee and pastries that is in reasonable proximity to all group runs.
